Our 2021 Dark Horse Buttery Chardonnay is a rich wine layered with notes of buttercream and vanilla bean. The mouthfeel is full and brims with hints of juicy pineapple and pear that pull through to a crisp finish.
Details
We harvested the grapes at optimum ripeness. Fermentation was conducted at low to moderate temperatures of 55°-62°F. The aromatic yeast was chosen to intensify the natural aromatics and enhance the fruit characteristics. After fermentation, the wines were stored in stainless steel tanks to preserve their brightness and balance.
