Nana Quagraine is an experienced investor, with a global perspective and broad skill set from an 18 year career spanning investing at Public Investment Corporation (“PIC”), Africa’s largest (~US$150 billion AUM) public-fund manager based in South Africa, investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York, strategy consulting at Monitor Group and metallurgical engineering at ArcelorMittal South Africa. At PIC, Nana was a Senior Fund Principal responsible for PIC’s infrastructure investments across Sub-Saharan Africa; with responsibilities including managing US$500 million South Africa Economic Infrastructure Fund and US$500 million Africa Developmental Investments Fund. She was a Member of  the Fund Investment Panel, Portfolio Management Committee, HR Steering Committee and PIC Management Committee. Nana was previously a Board Director at  Lanseria International Airport, the second largest airport in Johannesburg and PIC’s Board Representative at Smile Telecom, a mobile broadband service provider with the largest 4G LTE network in Africa. Since late 2017, Nana has been the Founder and CEO of online home decor retailer 54kibo, a leader in providing luxury African Designs to consumers in the United States. 

Originally from Ghana, Nana grew up in South Africa since 1986 and worked in South Africa before moving to the U.S. in 2006. Nana lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband Mark and twins, Efua and Kofi. Harvard Business School MBA.
