Wadadli Naturals is a beauty and personal care company that combines generational wisdom with science to create high-performing, natural products. We make natural deodorants, body butters, lip balms, sea moss creams, cleansers, beard oils, and hair oils. Wadadli Naturals products are hand-made and use only essential vegan ingredients with no fillers.
Wadadli Naturals draws inspiration from the vibrant Caribbean and proudly carries the indigenous name of "Our Own" from Antigua. What truly sets us apart is our Caribbean-inspired formulations, packaging, and scents that speak to the cultural identity and skin care needs of BIPOC consumers. We specifically address common skin concerns such as eczema and hyperpigmentation that disproportionately affect this community, while offering a product experience that's both luxurious and functional.
Founding Story
Wadadli Naturals was founded out of a personal need and a desire to address health issues affecting Black women. The Founder and CEO, Camara Samuel, learned that Black women are more likely to die from breast cancer and that aluminum, found in many mainstream deodorants, has been detected in breast tissue of cancer patients. When she tried natural deodorants on the market, they either irritated her skin or didn't last long. With her background as a Chemical Engineer and formulation experience, she developed her own solution during the COVID lockdown: a shea butter deodorant that met her needs for both safety and effectiveness.
Since 2020, Wadadli Naturals has sold over 2,000 deodorants, expanded our product line, and connected with many Black women seeking safer personal care options. But there' is so much more to do. Wadadli Naturals’ goal is to ensure everyone in the U.S. has access to a safe, effective natural products.
