Founding Story

Born and raised in South Korea, Yujin Anderson joined her father’s business nearly 20 years after he developed a unique technology, stepping in to help expand opportunities while living in the US. Though her passion has always been human rights, she found a connection by helping companies save water, protect resources, and ensure safe groundwater, contributing to the universal right to clean drinking water.

With a background in international peace studies and anthropology, she initially aspired to work with organizations like the UN. When her dad’s company recruited her, she was preparing for law school—but the chance to make a meaningful impact drew her to this mission-driven business, and opened the opportunity for her to create Steamericas.
