About

SoaPen is a fun hand soap kids can draw with! With SoaPen, kids draw fun designs all over their hands, then they slightly wet their hands, rub to create a lather and rinse off. SoaPen's gentle and stain free formula was designed to make sure kids wash their hands for 20 to 40 seconds to get all that colorful soap drawing off. For every purchase, SoaPen donates soap or a percentage of profits to our partner organizations that passionately support children's hygiene and health.

Founding Story

Co-Founders, Amanat Anand, and Shubham Issar grew up in New Delhi, India, and met while studying Industrial Design at the Parsons School of Design in New York. After graduating, they entered and won UNICEF Wearables for Good Challenge 2016 for the concept of SoaPen. SoaPen was created in response to recognizing the health benefits of handwashing with soap. Handwashing with soap can protect 1 out of every 3 children who get sick with diarrhea and other respiratory infections and can reduce absenteeism in schools by up to 57%.

Amanat and Shubham are listmakers of Forbes 30 under 30, Toyota's Mothers of Invention and SoaPen's been featured on Real Simple, Money Magazine and Now This among other publications.
