Founding Story
Skyn Studio Beauty was born from passion, perseverance, and a lifelong love for the transformative power of skincare. Growing up, founder Rana Stovall shared a special bond with her grandmother, Debra, a beautiful and photogenic woman who cherished skincare as part of her daily ritual. Together, they experimented with products, discovering what worked best for different seasons, skin types, and concerns. These moments weren’t just about beauty—they were about connection, care, and learning to embrace and love the skin you’re in.
Rana carried this passion into adulthood, even as she pursued a successful 15-year career in accounting and property management. But despite her achievements, she felt a calling to follow her true passion: helping others feel confident through the power of self-care. In 2017, she took a bold leap of faith, enrolling at the Douglas Aveda Institute to master the science and artistry of skincare. This decision sparked a journey of transformation—one that would lead her to build something truly special.
In 2018, Rana began working at a high-profile beauty salon in Birmingham, Michigan, perfecting her craft while offering facials, body treatments, waxing, and lash services. She quickly earned a reputation for her skill, care, and ability to make clients feel comfortable and confident.
Then, in 2020, the world changed. The pandemic shuttered spas and salons, leaving many without access to professional skincare services. Rana recognized a need—a way to bring high-quality, clean, and effective skincare directly to people when they needed it most. From this vision, Skyn Studio Beauty was born.
More than just a skincare brand, Skyn Studio Beauty became a movement of empowerment and self-love. Rana combined her years of expertise with her deep understanding of clean, vegan, and high-performing ingredients to create products that nourish the skin while uplifting the spirit.
