Founding Story

Regenix was born from a dream, a passion for science, and a relentless pursuit of reversing hair loss. It all began with William “Bill” Edwards, a visionary with a deep-rooted fascination for hair and scalp health. In the late 1970s, Edwards, a Chicago native, moved to Los Angeles with a dream to revolutionize the way hair loss and scalp disorders were treated. His journey into the world of hair care began in 1976, when he started treating scalp disorders, quickly gaining recognition for his expertise and dedication.

In 1980, Edwards joined An-Tech Research Labs, Inc., here he immersed himself in groundbreaking research and analysis. A pivotal moment came when the company acquired an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. This cutting-edge technology allowed Edwards to study and track mineral absorption, uncovering critical insights into the relationship between nutrients and hair health. By 1984, Edwards became President of An-Tech Research Labs, further honing his skills and expanding his knowledge.

However, it was in 1990 that Edwards experienced his true “ah-ha” moment. Armed with new bio-pharmaceutical treatments and advanced analysis technology, he realized the potential to create a revolutionary approach to hair and scalp care. This led him to found Regenix in 1990. From its humble beginnings in a Beverly Hills clinic, Regenix grew into a trusted name, treating over 500,000 individuals with hair loss and scalp issues. Edwards’ commitment to science, combined with his passion for helping others, laid the foundation for a brand that continues to innovate and inspire, rooted in the belief that everyone deserves healthy, vibrant hair.
