Los Angeles, CA (October 11, 2024) — MTN WTR, the first Japanese, naturally alkaline, premium spring water brand in the U.S. is thrilled to announce that its spring water from Mt. Fuji, Japan, will be available at all Erewhon locations starting October 2024.
This marks a significant milestone for MTN WTR as the company expands its footprint in the $9.3B premium bottled water market, offering consumers in Southern California access to the pure, high-quality water sourced directly from Japan’s sacred mountain, Mt. Fuji. MTN WTR will offer both still spring water and sparkling spring water in 16 fl oz aluminum cans, perfectly aligned with Erewhon's focus on quality and sustainability.
MTN WTR was founded on a mission to bring Japan’s purest tasting water to the U.S. When Founder and CEO, Masa Kinemuchi, moved from Japan to the U.S., he immediately missed the pure, high-quality water he grew up with. Inspired by his longing for the pure, high-quality water of Japan, Masa and co-founder Takashi Nakamura launched MTN WTR, dedicated to bringing the purest spring water directly from the springs of Mt. Fuji to the U.S. market.
