He owned his first business at 18, became one of the youngest Realtors ever inducted into RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame at 28, and has become an internationally recognized leader and trainer in the direct selling industry.

Today Todd is living the life of his dreams and working with his son, Gerrid Smith and brother, Barry Smith. In April of 2018, they—alongside Joy Smith—founded Joy Organics. Joy Organics has become a rapidly-growing and industry-leading CBD company specializing in premium CBD products. Todd's main role is overseeing the sales divisions including wholesale and mass retail. He also oversees product development and supply chain.

Before Joy Organics, Barry was an entrepreneurial senior executive and consultant with broad experience managing various business functions with a focus on international business development, sales, marketing, leadership, and organizational development for both new ventures and established companies.

Barry constructed detailed business plans, assembled top teams, and built the necessary alliances to launch and grow several successful businesses and divisions over the past 25+ years in the U.S., Canada, Europe, East Asia, South America, and India.

Barry is committed to building conscious leadership and businesses incorporating the principles of Conscious Capitalism. He has built values-driven teams committed to higher purpose and the triple bottom line: people, profit, and planet. Shortly after Joy Organics’ founding, Barry joined to oversee operations for the newly-founded but rapidly-growing brand. In 2020, he became CEO and has helped cultivate a company culture that empowers and equips employees to grow and thrive both personally and professionally.

Gerrid founded Joy Organics alongside his mom, Joy Smith and dad, Todd Smith. Together with his uncle Barry Smith, they’ve created a CBD brand that leads the way in quality and transparency.

Before Joy Organics, Gerrid was running a multi-million dollar internet marketing firm called Blackfin. At just 18 years old, Smith decided to not only jump into SEO but jump into the most competitive space for SEO, personal injury attorneys and began to build his skills and company from the ground up.

In the Spring of 2018, Gerrid first began researching the CBD industry. When he heard that his mom was having difficulty sleeping, and hadn’t had a complete night’s rest in about two years, he recommended she try CBD.

The results spoke for themselves, but the industry was untrustworthy, with many businesses merely looking to get rich quick. As a result, many dismissed CBD entirely. Gerrid and his family decided to solve the problem themselves and create Joy Organics
