About

Jeweler Collective is a global jewelry marketplace dedicated to celebrating cultural heritage. It curates and co-creates luxurious, culturally inspired pieces from around the world for modern audiences through a digital-first experience. The platform exists to spotlight the incredible diversity of jewelry traditions—making them discoverable, desirable, and accessible beyond their local geographies.

Through a growing network of global partners, Jeweler Collective supports jewelry makers, nonprofits, and cultural figures in launching collections that are meaningful and well-told. It provides creative, operational, and marketing support to help bring their work to life in ways that preserve authenticity while elevating visibility. Jeweler Collective’s mission is not just to sell jewelry—but to share the stories behind it, and to build a new kind of commerce rooted in culture, craft, and collection.

Founding Story

Jeweler Collective began as a simple idea between Rohit and Arjun, who were running a creative agency and had been working closely with online jewelry brands. They noticed a recurring challenge: people were looking for trustworthy, unique jewelry designs online—pieces that were hard to find in their local stores. They wondered if a curated, dedicated marketplace could fill the gap. Rohit was initially skeptical, especially given the existence of platforms like Etsy. But a visit to one of the largest jewelry trade shows in Hong Kong changed everything.

At the show, Rohit met manufacturers who shared a clear trend: retail orders were slowing down, and they were looking to go direct-to-consumer—but lacked the infrastructure or storytelling capabilities. Around the same time, Rohit’s wife, Jan, discovered Modi Pearls, a heritage pearl jeweler in Hyderabad, India that had been in business for three generations. Despite a strong local presence and a budding Instagram following, they had struggled to build a premium online brand on their own. That’s when it clicked—the heritage jewelry space was incredibly rich, but deeply fragmented.

Together, these moments shaped the foundation of Jeweler Collective. The team began onboarding jewelers from diverse traditions: a hip hop jeweler in Michigan, Modi Pearls from Hyderabad, South Indian goldsmiths, jade carvers from Hong Kong, and diamond jewelry manufacturers in Thailand. In February 2025, they organized their first global photoshoot in Bangkok for the Hidden Gems collection; navigating the complexity of international logistics, styling, and creative production.

They also connected with TPN Global—franchise holders for Miss Universe Thailand. TPN supported the shoot by sending Opal Suchata, Miss Universe Thailand 2024, as a brand ambassador for a featured collection.

The collaboration grew quickly. After the shoot, the team met with Opal and Mrs. Pui, founder of TPN. When Jan shared the heritage of the pearls Opal wore, it struck a chord—Opal connected it to her hometown, Phuket, also known for pearls. They spoke about Opal’s breast cancer awareness platform, Opal for HER, and soon established a long-term partnership with TPN to collaborate with future contestants.

In April 2025, Jeweler Collective held their second photoshoot for The Sunkissed Collection at U Pattaya Resort with Opal and Anntonia, Miss Universe Thailand 2023. This further deepened their partnerships and uncovered new synergies—Anntonia, for example, had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for hip hop jewelry.

Just one month later, Opal traveled to Hyderabad—Rohit’s hometown—to compete in the Miss World pageant, which coincidentally was hosted there. The team took Opal to visit Modi Pearls, introduced her to local press, and rooted for her all the way. Weeks later, Opal made history by winning the Miss World crown—the first ever for Thailand.

Jeweler Collective continues to grow from this spark—telling stories of jewelry that carry history and forging meaningful relationships with emerging cultural icons. We're building a new kind of platform that celebrates all cultures through jewelry.
