I absolutely love this mushroom drink. I was hesitant at first to try this style of drink, but with such an amazing list of ingredients it warranted a taste. Not only does the beverage provide an abundance of health promoting ingredients you would be hard pressed to find in any supplement stack, it also tastes like a healthy sprite! Lightly bubbling with hints of lime, this is becoming my go-to drink to hold me over while waiting for dinner. Low in calories, high in flavor, and supreme in health promoting properties, what isn’t there to like.

Ohhh strawberry peach is delicious. I was afraid it would taste like mushrooms but it doesn’t. And no added sugar! Yuzu lime is also delicious. Highly recommend. Non alcoholic because I don’t drink alcohol.

Who looks like a fool? I do! I typically flat out refuse to drink anything with Stevia or monk fruit, or any variation of those things. I just think they taste awful. Every. Single. Time. So when these High Ground Elixirs showed up at my door with monk fruit listed, my skepticism was high and I decided before even opening the box that I wouldn’t enjoy them. And that should be a good lesson for me about being openminded and having expectations, because it turns out, they’re really tasty!!!! (I rarely learn my lesson so it probably wont happen here either.) The monk fruit is listed almost last in the list, which means there is just a teensy little bit in there, and most of the sweet notes are derived from the fruit juices, both strawberry & peach and then lime & yuzu. They also have a list of mushrooms that are said to impact your mood in a positive way. Since Election Day I’ve been in need of a huge mood boost, but I think it’s gonna take more than reishi and chaga to get me there. If you’re feeling adventurous and like maybe you want to trust some shmuck on the internet, right now is a good time to give them a try!
