Founding Story

Fishers Island is located off the coast of New London, Connecticut. Those in the area are reminded of a bygone era, a simpler time before the hustle and bustle of modern life. People wave to neighbors and strangers alike, and summers are spent listening to gently lapping waves and watching boats float by. While some may wonder what the appeal of such a quiet and uneventful place is, others value the tranquil peace that can only be found away from flashing lights and crowds of people. This idea of an oasis from the hectic day-to-day was the foundation from which Fishers Finery was created.
