Founding Story

It was the year 2020, Crystal had just finished nursing her newborn baby. She walked into the bathroom at 2:56pm to take her first shower in what felt like a decade, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and thought "who is that?, I'm and esthetician and spa owner how can my skin look this bad"? She reached for her vitamin c and it immediately made her itch. So she reached for a thicker vitamin c formula and it broke her out. Deciding she was going to take matters into her own hands, she announced to her husband and newborn baby - I"'m starting a skincare line. And she knew that was just the beginning.

Crystal is a visionary entrepreneur, skincare expert, and founder of Dolce Dew Skin Co. and Cucumber + Mint, a luxury medspa. Her journey into the beauty industry began as a makeup artist, but her passion for skin health led her to esthetics school, where she discovered her love for corrective and results-driven skincare.

With a deep understanding of the ever-evolving skincare industry, Crystal built Dolce Dew—a high-performance, cruelty-free skincare line designed with intention. Every formula was created with a real person in mind—whether it was her mother’s struggle with sensitive skin, her grandmother’s quest for lasting hydration, or the concerns of clients she’s worked with over the years. Her mission is simple: to create skincare solutions that go beyond the surface, helping people feel confident and radiant in their skin.

As a facial massage expert, Crystal developed the Four Flow Method, a specialized technique that enhances lymphatic drainage, lifts, and sculpts the face. She now teaches a Four Flow Certification to estheticians and skincare professionals, empowering them to transform their clients’ skin through intentional touch and advanced techniques.

An entrepreneur with ADD, Crystal embraces her creative and fast-moving mind as a superpower, constantly innovating and staying ahead of industry trends. Her leadership at Cucumber + Mint reflects her dedication to exceptional client experiences, team culture, and community impact. She thrives on bringing fresh ideas to life, from designing a men’s skincare line (Dolce Dude) to launching a second spa location.

Beyond skincare, Crystal is passionate about business growth, hospitality, and empowering fellow entrepreneurs. She is an avid reader of books like The Energy Bus and Unreasonable Hospitality, using their lessons to fuel her leadership style. She also believes in balancing success with family, carving out time for her two young sons while managing her growing business empire.

Through her work, Crystal continues to redefine what it means to be a modern entrepreneur—blending creativity, strategy, and purpose to make a lasting impact in the beauty and wellness space.

Passionate about quality and innovation, I take pride in bringing effective, thoughtfully formulated products to our customers—especially my personal favorite, Daily Dose Vitamin C. When I’m not immersed in the world of skincare, you can find me soaking up the sun at the beach (wearing SPF of course), baking something sweet, or enjoying time with my husband and dog.
