Different Puzzles, the most delightfully amusing puzzles, with surprises hidden in each of its original, whimsical illustrations.

Created to bring playful trickery to an otherwise predictable activity, Different Puzzles keep you guessing right until the last piece is in place.

Because of the hidden surprises, the final puzzle doesn’t quite match what’s on the box: A singing chicken on the Party Fowls cocktail party puzzle box becomes an Elvis impersonator on the board. And in Woolapalooza, the surprises turn a music festival for grandma sheep into a boozy brunch scene.

Different Puzzles are made in the USA with 100% recycled cardboard. They come in 1,000 and 500 pieces, all 20 x 27 inches when completed.

Founding Story

Different Puzzles was the brainchild of a trio of friends in New York City at the height of the pandemic, when they found a way in late 2020 to channel their anxiety and bring a bit of levity to their daily lives during an otherwise terrifying time in the world. They wanted to make the puzzling experience a bit more playful and mindful by throwing in a few surprises. If you don’t know exactly what the final result will be, they figured, you really have to pay attention to the act of puzzling. They keep adding puzzles – a dozen and counting – and surprises to the lineup.
