Deep Blue is a sustainable streetwear brand that cleans oceans and funds environmental education. Our sustainable streetwear connects consumers to global change: each purchase removes 1 pound of ocean plastic, funds high school scholarships for Indonesian students, and supports global ocean conservation education.


All of our items are crafted from organic and recycled cotton sourced from American farmers, designed to biodegrade in just three months—far superior to the 200 years required for synthetic fabrics. We produce our garments in the USA, reducing international shipping emissions and supporting the local economy, while ensuring fair wages and safe working conditions, with no child labor involved.


Every purchase contributes to our mission: each sale removes 1 pound of plastic from the ocean through our partnership with 4Ocean and supports our Ocean Conservation Education Program launching this fall in Bali, Indonesia. This program aims to educate youth in one of the most polluted regions about ocean health and plastic pollution.

Founding Story

My name is Brooke Buckman and I am the founder of Deep Blue. I designed Deep Blue to be a protest against fast fashion and the harmful effects that modern consumerism has on the environment. Ocean conservation is my deepest passion so I've formed Deep Blue to be a vessel for everyday people to make a global impact on something they care so deeply about, the ocean. O


One of the most common sentiments I hear is that people want to help but don't know how. With so many global issues, it can feel overwhelming and paralyzing, often leading individuals to take little or no action. They feel helpless and insignificant as one person in a world of 8 billion people.

I strive to provide a solution to this issue with Deep Blue. There is a gap between people's desire to help humanity and their ability to directly access the problem. Deep Blue bridges that gap. Through our products, consumers give back to a cause that they care about while purchasing a sustainable alternative to something they would have bought otherwise.
