Founding Story
Crew Dog began as a side project in 2023 between two Yale students on the crew team who were looking for something fresher and more meaningful than the same recycled logos and generic campus merch seen year after year. The original design, a modern spin on the Yale bulldog, offered a more subtle, stylish way to show school pride. The style caught on quickly, spreading from one team to entire campuses across the country. Spreading our designs became a mission: to give everyone a new style of collegiate apparel to better connect with and represent their Crew, whether it be their university, campus affiliations, or something bigger, a community that is our brand, Crew Dog.
