BRABAR is reimagining bras and championing the confidence of teens and young women with education and information about bra measuring and fit to eliminate the guesswork. Offering size-inclusive, stylish wire-free bras and bralettes ranging from AA to DDD/F with band sizes as small as 28, BRABAR infuses comfort and support into every design for young women living their dynamic, active everyday lives. This approach reinforces the message that you are much more than a body—you are somebody, and comfort is the foundation of confidence. Feeling Good, Looks Good, knit with supersoft sustainable yarns BRABAR is known for its support and comfort across its inclusive size range.
Through its Band Together Program, BRABAR, in partnership with I Support the Girls, donates one bra to a girl in need for every bra purchased. By joining forces with Greenspark, BRABAR ensures a positive impact on our planet and its people. For every order, they plant one tree, rescue ten plastic bottles, and offset 30 kgs of CO2, making a meaningful contribution to reducing the environmental impact on the climate.
Founding Story
Our mission at BRABAR extends beyond guiding young women to find the perfect bra through education on proper fit and by offering a genuinely inclusive size range from AA to DDD/F; it's also about inspiring the next generation with unwavering confidence. We are leading a movement toward standardized bra sizing, aiming to go beyond the basic provision of comfort and support. At BRABAR, we're not just selling bras; we're committed to effecting transformative change and positively impacting young women's lives.
Witnessing my 15-year-old daughter's bra-shopping challenges firsthand, I knew that 8 out of 10 women wear the wrong bra size. This frustration fueled my determination to use my 20 years of experience in the intimate apparel sector to establish BRABAR, directly addressing the issues of inconsistent measuring and lack of inclusivity. At BRABAR, we are debunking the armpit method of measuring used by VS, the special measuring tapes used at Aerie, and the outdated and incorrect adding +4 to the band method in favor of the global standard ribcage method of measurement and standardizing bra sizing for the next generation. Our goal is to revolutionize the intimates industry, making it effortless for every young woman to find a bra that fits perfectly and boosts her confidence. At BRABAR, we're not just creating bras but forging a future where every girl feels empowered and supported.

Wendy Herman is a dynamic fashion industry and retail executive with 20+ years of experience and deep-rooted expertise in intimate apparel. Her core competency lies in her transformative approach to the fashion sector, particularly in revolutionizing teens & young women's bra drawers through her pioneering intimate brand, BRABAR. In 2017, BRABAR was born from Wendy's firsthand challenges in finding suitable bras with her then 15-year-old daughter, igniting her mission to pivot the focus from body image to self-love and proper fit. Wendy combines her journey as a mother of three and her vast industry experience to redefine comfort and confidence in young women's lives. Her notable contributions include working on launching significant intimate lines for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Yummie. Aspiring to be a changemaker, Wendy’s vision extends beyond mere brand success; she aims to empower the next generation of women, positioning herself as a leading figure in creating impactful, positive change in the intimate apparel landscape.
