"We must have smelled a dozen lilac blends," said Tessa Cheek, who runs product development for Bluecorn. "We were looking for something very specific — the abundant lilac blossoms that herald the start of summer all over Colorado. I think we nailed it. I keep a little sample tin of Mountain Lilac on my desk — the scent instantly returns me happy afternoons spent in my mother's garden."

Inspired by Bluecorn Cafe's beloved cocktail "The Dove", a riff on the classic, the Paloma candle fragrance leads with sweet grapefruit spiked with the complexity of prickly pear and rhubarb for a fun-loving citrus candle that is surprisingly complex, even sophisticated.

"Paloma's all about calling in good friends and good music," said Jon Kornbluh, Bluecorn Founder. "We host some amazing bluegrass shows in the Bluecorn workshop and this candle is a shout out to that sweet scene."

Just in time for Valentine's Day, White Lily emerges as the most romantic of the bunch. This elegant fragrance opens with the iconic sweetness of blooming lilies, balanced by the crisp freshness of green foliage. Undertones of intoxicating violet add sensuality and depth.

Bluecorn's Aromática scented candles are available in two sizes: a standard 6oz with a 25hr burn time, or a large 11oz with a 55hr burn time. They come in gorgeous, beaded amber glass that can be reused as drinkware or with the company's soon-to-launch compostable refill packs.
