About

Kia Ora (hello),

We're Antipodean Home, a regenerative organic bedding brand from Aotearoa, New Zealand. We offer natural home materials that do more than sustain – they actively restore and revive our natural world! 🌎

Most conventional bedding uses microfiber, plastic disguised as fabric - and it's like sleeping under a shower curtain! You overheat, toss, and turn all night and wake up in a hot, sweaty mess. 🌞 That's why you can sleep 8 hours and wake up still feeling exhausted. 🤯🥵

Instead, we believe Mother Nature had it right from the start. That's why we focus on quality of sleep, not just quantity. Our signature bedding, made from ZQ-certified Regenerative Merino Wool, improves natural sleep cycles by up to 25%. Its magical properties keep you comfy, wicking away moisture, regulating temperature, and providing hypoallergenic goodness – all while promoting deeper, more restful sleep. 😴💤

Because we're not just about better sleep – we're about regeneration! 💚 Because when you sleep better, you live better.

What sets us apart is our commitment to regenerative farming methods. Our farmers produce exceptionally clean and pure fiber using low-impact, regenerative methods—no harsh chemicals. No synthetics. Just pure, natural materials. It's how we ensure our products are not just healthier for you but for the planet, too.

Our farms cover 3.7 million acres and work to restore the planet by removing excess carbon from the atmosphere through soil health and biodiversity. Our adoption of ZQRX, the world's first regenerative agriculture index, means we don't compromise comfort for sustainability.

Developed in collaboration with industry leaders like Allbirds, Icebreaker, and Smartwool, ZQRX is moving beyond conventional sustainability toward active regeneration.

So you're not just getting a comfy, eco-friendly bedding solution by choosing Antipodean Home.

You're also part of a movement that seeks to actively restore the planet by nurturing a healthier, more sustainable world.🌳🌍

Founding Story

Antipodean means "Someone From The Far Side Of The World". Greg Bailey, a New Zealander living in America, started Antipodean Home with a simple belief: that a naturally healthy home is the foundation for a healthier, happier life.

In Aotearoa New Zealand, we have a name for it - the Te Reo Maori word for ‘Guardianship’ or 'Kaitiakitanga.’

It's our way of living with Nature, not against it, to create a healthier, more sustainable world.

After struggling with conventional bedding that caused overheating and discomfort, Greg sought a better solution. This led to the discovery of ZQ-certified Regenerative Merino Wool, known for enhancing sleep quality by regulating temperature and wicking away moisture.

Believing that better sleep leads to better living, Greg founded Antipodean Home to offer bedding that promotes deep, restorative sleep. The brand uses natural, hypoallergenic materials free from harsh chemicals and synthetics.

Committed to sustainability, Greg works with farmers who use low-impact, regenerative methods, contributing to soil health and biodiversity across 3.7 million acres of farmland. By adopting the ZQRX regenerative agriculture index, Antipodean Home ensures that comfort and sustainability go hand in hand.

Through Antipodean Home, Greg aims to provide not just better sleep but also a healthier, more sustainable world.
