“The colors of noise are words that describe different sonic patterns of noise produced by math functions. Some of the most common are white, brown, and pink. While they don’t have very much correlation to the colors of visual light, they each have their own unique sonic characteristics, which can be thought of as musical tone color or timbral color.”“Listening to noise can quiet the sounds of an environment, and in so doing, also quiet the mind. Rarely in life will you ever encounter true silence. Noise masks out sounds, and while it’s constant sound, there isn’t any discernible pattern to noise, so it can be nice for sleeping.”
