Today's pick: "Uber will show ads now. But don’t count on a lower fare." from the Washington Post

Like Netflix, Uber has recently announced that it will begin to incorporate ads to its product, showing riders ads before and after rides. It remains to be seen whether this will impact ride prices (Netflix's new ad tier is a lower cost than the subscription not supported by ads). The company is testing other ad delivery systems (like tablets in cars) as well. The plans are intended to boost profits at the ride-share giant, but could be a game-changer for brands and companies looking to tap into Uber's large customer base.

Would you be interested in advertising in the Uber app? We'd love to hear more.
