Margot joined Hēladerm in 2020 as Co-founder and CEO, after falling in love with the product and recognizing the needs of middle-aged women are overlooked in skincare. Margot's background brings marketing and consumer expertise, along with a strategic understanding of women's health and wellness. Margot is an active investor, mentor and advisor to women-led ventures. She is a founding member, Investment Co-Chair and Treasurer of Next Act Fund, the only angel fund in Pittsburgh focused on investing in women-led early-stage ventures. Margot has met with hundreds of entrepreneurs and early-stage companies, educated other women on investing in venture capital, and is a speaker and writer about the gender funding gap in venture capital. Margot began her career in retail where she held various senior merchandising positions at Old Navy, Banana Republic and American Eagle Outfitters. Margot holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from The Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. She is a mom of twins, senior dog lover, yoga enthusiast, and passionate about addressing the underserved needs of women.
