Cashmira

Cashmira is a former recipe columnist for the Indian Express in New York, devoted home chef, and lifelong flavor chaser. Born in Mumbai and shaped by two decades in Dubai and over a decade in New York City, her cooking blends the bold warmth of Indian home kitchens with the curiosity of a global palate. Her green chili chutney—equal parts fiery, fresh, and addictive—grew out of countless test kitchens, dinner parties, and a shared obsession with flavor. In 2024, she was a standout contestant in The Favorite Chef competition, presented by Carla Hall and hosted by Colossal, placing second in her group in support of the James Beard Foundation.
