Prasanna Lachagari

Prasanna Lachagari is the Design Director and Partner at SDI Architecture in Boston, MA, as well as a Founding Partner of SDI Design India in her hometown of Hyderabad. She has been honored with; Forbes 30 under 30 2022, Boston Architectural Alumni Emerging Designer 2021, Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 2021, and was named one of the Top 100 Leaders in Real Estate and Construction at the annual WRECONF (World Real Estate and Construction Forum).

Prasanna is actively working to bring in projects for SDI, both in the USA and in India. She is heavily focused on working with nonprofits to develop projects that help communities. In the US, she is now working on a Southern Idaho Heritage Museum a Sports & Education Centre in Connecticut, and schools in India giving education to an economical diverse student body.

Through her design leadership the projects focus on the region they are constructed in, taking into consideration the climatic conditions and how we can take advantage of these conditions. She also aims to bring biophilic concepts into the interiors creating healthier spaces to occupy.
